Preserving food from spoilage

Food preservation is very important when we do not have time to buy fresh food daily.

Preserving food helps extend its life and prevent bacteria from forming in it.

Bacteria, mold, and other microorganisms are so smart that they can exist and disguise themselves so you don't get caught.

Do not allow it to fight you and sneak into your food, fight it by following proper food preservation methods.

And here I don't mean just keeping food in the fridge, but I mean auxiliary and magic tricks that have a greater effect than the effect of the refrigerator.

Tips to keep food from spoiling

1. Keep the meat in its original bag.

2. You can also smoke it, to reduce the chances of infection with bacteria and keep it for as long as possible.

3. Do not store fruits near vegetables, because the first produces ethylene which will cause the second to ooze.

4. When any food remains, it must be placed in airtight bags or food containers and then placed in the refrigerator.

5. Fruits with pits, do not store in the refrigerator (such as peaches - apricots - dates).

6. For strawberries, do not store larger quantities than the size that it can accommodate, to allow cold air to circulate between them.

7. To accommodate the freezer for larger quantities, deflate the storage bags to reduce their volume.

Use sticky tape on each bag, to write the name of the product and the date it was stored.

And to maintain the state of the freezer itself, do not put hot food in it so that it does not spoil.

8. Pickling and fermenting some foods also helps in maintaining their shelf life for longer periods.

9. Salting, which has been in use since the Middle Ages, allows you to preserve fish and vegetables.

10. Unpack the tied vegetables, and store them in the refrigerator free.

11. The ideal place for bacteria is where the moisture is, so dry the food well, and withdraw any liquid from it.

Using a food dehydrator or an oven.

12. Packing and packaging foods with high acidity, as this prevents the presence of air around them, and thus the lack of chances for bacteria to form.

Where packaging, if done correctly, can preserve food for nearly 20 years.

Thus, we have been able to preserve food from any spoilage or mold with very simple tricks.
